John Showers and Howard Bentley hoovering up syrphids from a marvellous stand of Oenanthe crocata at Stackpole. There were many Eristalis species here as well as several Criorhina berberina, Chrysotoxum bicinctum, Parhelophilus, Myathropa florea, etc. A cracking hour and a half was expended here!
