Another fly from Sandwich Bay, Kent

This little fly was also swept from low vegetation on coastal shingle at Sandwich Bay, Kent on 8 August 2017. I would be very grateful if anyone is able to suggest an identification. I think it is a Chlovropid but it seems much more elongate than others I have seen from this family

Many thanks

Alan

Hi Alan - snap
About the best I can come up with is Chloropidae - Meromyza sp.

Re: Another fly from Sandwich Bay, Kent

I think the first one could well be Meromyza pratorum.
