small fly from Sandwich Bay Kent

This smart little fly was swept from low vegetation on coastal shingle at Sandwich Bay, Kent on 8 August 2017. I would be very grateful if anyone is able to suggest an identification.

Many thanks

Alan

Wow! Looks like one of the Phasinine Tachinids to me, but I have no idea which. One for Chris Raper I fancy.

Re: small fly from Sandwich Bay Kent

Many thanks Matt. I will post details as requested but it was swept by me from low vegetation. mainly Rest Harrow and Birds Foot Trefoil, on shingle shore at Sandwich Bay, East Kent, TR365571 on 8 August 2017

This was a new one to me though I have seen and photographed two others from the genus.

Best wishes

Alan
