Re: Help with a German word for translation

"middle triangle" - does that fit with the context?

Re: Help with a German word for translation

Thanks Tony

I'm thinking frontal triangle of the frons

Would that fit with this? it relates to a species description in German

Re: Help with a German word for translation

Could do. Or it might mean just the area bounded by the ocelli. Easier to tell if I can see the description - can you PM me a link?

Re: Help with a German word for translation

Hi Tony

This is the sentence

Das unscharf begrenzte Mitteldreieck erreicht den Vorderrand der Stirn nicht ganz.

The indistinct begrenzte Mitteldreieck doesn’t quite reach the upper edge of the frons.

The indistinctly defined frontal triangle doesn't quite reach the front edge of the frons.
