Want to know more about acalyptrates / need some help?

We are running an acalyptrate clinic next week Saturday, 12th May, in the Oxford University Museum of Natural History, in the collections area. It starts at 10am, but needs to be booked via us, schultmay [at] insectsrus.co.uk .

During the day we will recall some of the more difficult characters, e.g. costal break, and show how to find these. We will also help with identification to family level and beyond. You could bring some tricky specimens or we find some in the collections. We will also have some draft keys to smaller families available. So far we have half filled the course, but we have 4 places left. Please get in contact to book. It would be helpful to let us know if you prefer to use museum specimens or will bring some specimens (in particular the family so that we bring the correct key with us).

Best wishes,

Jann, John and Barbara
