Phenology request

I'm working on phenology (for recording schemes generally, maybe the Bulletin, maybe DD) and just need some names of Diptera that are very early and very late in the year.
I'm guessing craneflies would be the best bet but you might have other ideas.
One proviso is that some data must be on NBN Atlas so that I can download records.
Many thanks

Re: Phenology request

For four groups of flies - craneflies, hoverflies, lower Brachycera and Calypterates - I keep a file which records the dates of the first and last records for each species each year, so for these flies it's easy to pull out the data you're asking for. I list below all the species in these four groups which were first recorded in January or February, and last recorded in November of December. The files cover all the years from 2005 to 2017. All records are from the south-east of England, the large majority from Kent.

Craneflies. January: Limonia nubeculosa, Tipula oleracea, T. pierrei, T. vernalis. February: Pseudolimnophora sepium, Tipula lateralis. November: L. nubeculosa. December: T. oleracea, T. pierrei, T. vernalis.

Hoverflies. January: Episyrphus balteatus. February: Cheilosia vernalis, E. balteatus, Eristalis tenax, Meliscaeva auricollis. November: Cheilosia soror, E. balteatus, Melanostoma scalare, Sphaerophoria scripta, Syrphus ribesii, S. vitripennis. December: none.

Lower Brachycera. January: Camsicnemus curvipes, C. scambus. February: Syntormon denticulatum. November: Syntormon denticulatum. December: none.

Calypterates. January: Calliphora vicina, Pollenia angustigena, P. rudis, Eudasyphora cyanella, Phaonia subventa, P. trimaculata, Scathophaga stercoraria. February: Lasiomma seminitidum, P. rudis, Muscina prolapsa, P. trimaculata, P. tuguriorum, S. stercoraria. November: Delia platura, C. vicina, C. vomitoria, Lucilia caesar, P. rudis, Hebecnema nigricolor, Helina impuncta, Hydrotaea cyrtoneurina, H. dentipes, Muscina levida, Mydaea scutellaris, Neomyia cornicina, Phaonia errans, P. subventa, P. tuguriorum, P. viarum, Polietes lardarius, P. meridionalis, Thricops diaphanus, Sarcophaga subvicina, Scathophaga stercoraria, Siphona geniculata, Tachina fera, Linnaemya picta, Ocytata pallipes, Pales pavida. December: C. vicina, P. tuguriorum, S. stercoraria, S. geniculata.

For flies in other groups the data would be harder to extract.
