Mosquito female, maybe Aedes caspius or dorsalis?

I saw this blundering about in long grass. It looks like something on the lines of Ades caspius or similar.

(I can't help noting that the long straggly ginger-tinted hair on the thorax makes it look like a bit like a dishevelled rocker from the 70s!)

Is it possible to give it a name without having the specimen?

Thanks
Nigel
