a small fly from Duck End NR, Beds

Beds Invertebrate Group had an excellent excursion to Duck End Nature Reserve, Beds on 7 May with a large number of interesting finds and inevitably also a few less distinctive species. I wonder if anyone might possibly be able to suggest and identification for this smallish male fly ( overall length 4.5mm)

Many thanks

Alan

Anthomyiidae. I'm not very good doing these from photos.

Thanks Tony. I rather feared it was one of the dreaded Anthomyiids.
