Does anyone have any UK Conopid specimens, stored in ethanol or frozen, that I could use for genetic studies as part of my PhD?
the data generated would be extremely valuable for Conopid conservation and biodiversity research.
Thanks,
Rachel.

What concentration alcohol do you need them in, Rachel? Just caught a couple of what look like Thecophora specimens today - now in the freezer and I could re-freeze one or put in alcohol. Need to pin the other for determination.
I probably have some old specimens of conopids in alcohol, but the percentage may be only 70% and not very reliable. Also they have been in this for more than 5 years. Presume these are not so useful?
