Rhagoletis meigenii in Suffolk

I felt I should report the finding of this fly in my kitchen in 49 Bolton Lane Ipswich (IP4 2BX) in East Suffolk on 17 July 2012.
It has been identified by members of the Dipterists Forum and Diptera.info as Rhagoletis meigenii.
I note that the same species was identified in Norwich last year: http://www.norfolkwildlifetrust.org.uk/ … sful.aspx.
