"British Soldierflies and their Allies"

I have been trying for a while to obtain a copy of:

"British Soldierflies and their Allies" by Stubbs, Drake and Wilson (published by the British Entomological and Natural History Society, ISBN 1-899935-04-5. 512 pages).

Unfortunately, it is out of print and I was told recently that the revised edition has been delayed again and won't be out until mid-2013. Does anyone know where I can get a second-hand copy?

Re: "British Soldierflies and their Allies"

I suspect the "mid 2013" is a little optimistic?

how about creating a "want" for it on http://www.abebooks.co.uk?

Try contacting the BENHS. I was helped in locating a copy this way.

Regards,
Andrew.

Re: "British Soldierflies and their Allies"

Thank you very much for these suggestions. I contacted the BENHS back in mid-December but no luck so far. I've now added a "want" to AbeBooks so will wait and see! In the meantime if anyone has a copy they would be willing to sell, please do let me know.

Hello everyone,

I am also interested in this book and I 'watches' for 2 years.

On the publisher's website I found this information http://www.malthousebooks.co.uk/

It seems more interesting to buy the new version should seem, normally in spring 2014.

Best wishes
