Red-eyed Fly in Morocco

A friend has asked my opinion on the attached photo which shows a fly that he photographed last week in Morocco, It was he said "housefly" sized and I suspect that it is a Tachinid. Does anyone recognise it please?

Sarcophagidae, very likely a male of Sarcophaga.

Re: Red-eyed Fly in Morocco

Many thanks Stephane. The red eyes should have told me but I thought it too brightly coloured for Sarcophagidae. With hindsight it looks possibly to be S. africa.
