Three new flies. Help please identifying

Our Aucuba Japonica is very popular for flies resting or sunning. Have given size photo and closer view. My tries at identification. 1. Tulipidae, very fragile.  2.  Curly antennae intriguing. Possible midge? 3. Psychodidae, this almost skated around the leaf and never still.

Re: Three new flies. Help please identifying

The first is a male Chironomid, and the third is an owl-midge (Psychodidae). Can't help with the second one I'm afraid, and can't go any further with the other two. I'm sure someone who's entranced by midges will be more helpful!

Thank you.  Am pleased I managed to identify owl-midge.  Far more complex subject than I ever imagined. Fascinating though and addictive.
