Subscription renewal

Is it possible to renew on-line instead of having to do cheques, standing orders etc - it would be a great convenience for everyone perhaps?

Re: Subscription renewal

It is possible to pay subscription by bank transfer using online banking. The details of the account number and sort code are in the Bulletins under "Membership Matters". If you do pay in this way please make sure you put your surname and initials in the "Payment Reference" or I will not know from whom the money has been sent. It is also helpful to email me to say you have done it as can be up to 8 weeks before I see the bank statement.

Re: Subscription renewal

Although subs fall due on 1st January, we know that a lot of bills hit at this time of the year. Generally if subs are paid before the end of March it does not cause us any problems. Normally we will send the Spring Bulletin to anyone who subscribed in the previous year, whether or not they are up to date. However, we do not send any subsequent journals until subs are paid. This means that late payers cause us to have to post separately any backlog, which, apart from being a hassle for Martin and me, costs the society as our mass posting of the Bulletin is not paid by us.
