Muscid from Knightshayes.

Hello,

Attached are some images of a male specimen collected from Knightshayes NT in Mid Devon last year. This has been a troublesome
one for me to key out but I have come to Limnophora scrupulosa and would like to have a second opinion please.

Regards,
Andrew.

Re: Muscid from Knightshayes.

With 3 post dc and this pattern on scutum, this is Limnophora maculosa.

Re: Muscid from Knightshayes.

Thanks ever so much, Stephane. Running it through the key again shows up a wrong turn at a couplet that I took.

This advance enabled me to also correctly get three smaller specimens through the keys as L. triangula.

Regards,
Andrew.
