Is this Thereva nobilitata please?

Great to see the website back up again! I certainly missed it as I check it out daily.

I think the attached images of this lovely fly caught at Duck End Nature Reserve, Beds on 4 July 2018 are of Thereva nobilitata. This is a species that has always eluded me so I am delighted to have caught (up with) one at last, assuming I am correct. I would though be grateful for confirmation or correction to verify the record. Whatever it is I am delighted to have seen and photogarphed it.

Certainly Thereva, however it's a difficult genus even with the specimen under the microscope, so I don't think it's possible to go to species level from these pictures.
