Phoridae at water pan traps

Just recently I've carried out some pan trapping in the garden just to see what was around.  Most recent traps have had quite a selection of phorids and I was wondering if Disney (1983) RES v10 pt 6 still the most relevant key to use.

Yes, that's the best key for the British fauna. Once you get hooked, you'll want to get RES v 10 pt 8 (1989), which deals with Megaselia, the giant genus that is not covered in 10.6. There have been plenty of additions since these keys were published, but most of your garden phorids will be covered by them.
