Small fly from Whipsnade Zoo butterfly house

This small fly c 4mm long was caught by my friend Stephen Plummer in the butterfly house at Whipsnade Zoo on 10 October on a joint visit by members of Herts and Beds Fungi Group and Beds Invertebrate Group. We have had many interesting synthropic species of invertebrates and Fungi in there ithere but suspect this is a native that has got in. Having been intitally fooled at the time into thinking it might be Lonchoptera we think that it might be Hybotidae. I wonder if anyone is possibly able to suggest an identification. I do have the specimen.

Many thanks

Alan
