Otter at Stackpole by JohnShowers
Especially for Erica! We saw two otters swimming under the 8 arch bridge as we returned from a diptera collecting trip. This was the best shot I could get before it swam into the vegetation. |

A male Chrysotoxum cautum at Freshwater. There were numbers of this attractive fly in the sand dunes and slacks at Freashwater and Broomhill. The characteristically huge genitalia of this species are obvious in this image. |
