I've been meaning to mention, I think there's a error (or a smudge) in the Ptychopteridae key.
My suspicion is that:
The second half of couplet 2 should lead to 5 (it could be a 5 or 6 in the scan). I had a specimen with male genitalia corresponding to albimana and it would key out smoothly if this was the route it took.
The second half of couple 3 should lead to 4 (rather than 5), otherwise the key contradicts itself and has no route to couplet 4.
Could someone with more experience confirm if this is right?

I can't sort out this key, which seems to be an early draft. There is a good working key in "Provisional Atlas of the Ptychopterid Craneflies" by Alan, published by the Biological Records Centre. It's quite an inexpensive little paperback.
