Request for records

In advance of an update to the review of Pipunculidae I hope to add as many records as possible.

I would prefer specimens, either identified or not, but would also be very grateful for records on spreadsheets.

If the latter please include number, sex and, in the case of males, whether or not dissected.

Please contact me as david.usia AT blueyonder.co.uk

Many Thanks

Re: Request for records

Hi David
I don't very often catch Pipunculidae but just recently I have found a couple in a malaise trap set in an old gravel quarry Crossways Dorset. (SY7587) Some time ago you were kind enough to send me up to date keys that were available at the time for all except Pipunculus (Unfortunately my specimens are of this genus). I have Coe but this appears to be way out of date with many changes. Is there anything more recent?

Regards

John
