A brilliant specimen manipulator design
"Natural History Museum scientists have created a tool made from Lego to hold and manipulate delicate specimens such as tiny insects. The pinned insect manipulator (IMp) allows scientists to easily move the specimen into different positions and rotate it over two axes so that they can study the detail from many angles."

Hi Ken
Interesting piece of kit - just what I am after - so I thought I would give it a go. Downloaded the Instuction PDF and visited the Lego 'Pick a Brick' site. Unfortunately the majority of the pieces are not listed there.
I am a total ignoramus regarding the practicalities of Lego so, are there any 'Legolandese' out there that might suggest a fix ?

Further to my previous post.
I persevered and found the requisite parts are obtainable from the 'Bricks & Pieces' site, NOT the 'Pick a Brick' site - and I thought Tachinids were difficult ! Just one item is out of stock at the moment but will definitely give it a go when available
