The Tanyptera Project is a five-year initiative (2017-2022) funded by the Tanyptera Trust to promote the study and conservation of insects and other invertebrates in the Lancashire and Cheshire region of NW England. Among its activities are frequent workshops, two of which in 2019 are on flies.
