Stackpole field meeting in June

I'd just like to draw people's attention to the wonderful photos of this obviously very enjoyable field meeting posted by Nigel Jones in the Gallery.  I'm green with envy, Nigel!

I wonder if I might have a higher quality copy of John and Howard in the sea of Oenanthe crocata for my flower visiting article in the next DB, please, Nigel?

Juudy,
Just to let you know that I emailed the file, but it's 7.5MB in sixze, so may not make it through. Let me know if nothing arrives and I'll resend as a smaller file.

Re: Stackpole field meeting in June

I just wanted to say thanks to Roger for organising this superb trip. Excellent accomodation, food, company and flies!

The photos that Nigel has posted in the gallery show what a great area it was. Fortunately he did not have his camera ready when he and Howard rescued me from the mud! I'm sure some of those dolichopodids would have been new to me.

The photo shows the water dropwort bed with Howard searching for diptera.
