More fly photos please - of rot hole flies

The Woodland Trust has agreed to place a short article on rot hole flies in their newsletter Woodwise, in recognition of 2019 International Year of the Fly. So, I now need a few high quality images of suitable spectacular flies.  I am thinking of saproxylic craneflies like the comb-horns, or colourful large hoverflies.  Likewise, if anyone has any photos of good rot holes, I should be most grateful.  Please email me at [email protected]

Re: More fly photos please - of rot hole flies

Many thanks to Steven Falk for sending me some superb images.  If anyone does send me photos using dropbox or we transfer or similar, please emails me a covering note so I know they are not spam or worse and don't open them.
